Gloucestershire Neutral Soils Meadow Seed Mix
A rich wildflower meadow mix for neutral soils, classified as MG5. A high % of Yellow Rattle makes this an excellent starter mix. New to our range last year.
The photo shows a number of orchids on the donor sites. You will find a good quantity of orchid seed in the mix, but don't necessarily expect to see any; they have complicated and demanding needs to trigger germination. Several of our mixes include orchid seeds, and we generally don't fess up to it!
The mix is taken from two sites in Goucestershire - one on the Herefordshire border - on broadly neutral well drained soils.
There are full instructions on the back of the packet. You can expect to receive your seed within five working days.
