Harvested Meadow Mixes

Our community of suppliers includes most of the best wildflower seed producers in the UK, some of them teeny tiny. Many harvest seed in a completely sustainable way from beautiful and often ancient British donor meadow sites.

These harvested mixes have very high floral content, and a high diversity of perennial native wildflower and meadow grass species. They offer exceptional value for money. These meadow seed mixes are ideal for Biodiversity Net Gain projects; ask us!

Constructed Seed Mixes

We do also sell some seed mixes which are made up of pre-determined %s of species, for different soil types or situations. These typically include 30% wildflowers. Increasingly, the standard 20:80 - or 10:90 wildflowers to grasses mixes you can find elsewhere don't cut it. Nitrogen deposition and warmer winters mean they're a false economy on anything but the most skeletal soils.

The wildflower seed in these mixes is originally from wild populations here and the grass seeds are certified cultivars.

Quality experience

Bought the Kent wildflower mix. Very helpful guidance online and on the packet for preparation, seeding rates, nutrition etc. Seedbed prepped. Waiting for the rain to stop before sowing. Product arrived at the time promised (~2 day turnaround) and in good nick. Overall an excellent experience.

Everything perfect except for Royal Mail’s lack of tracking

The seeds were bountiful, clean and large and well packed. Very impressive.

The only fly in the ointment was Royal Mail, who provided me with a tracking number which failed to work at all. In the end, I met the postman, quite by chance, at the gate and he handed the envelope over to me.
