Collection: Dry Sites

Dry sites can be great for meadows. Many aggressive weeds or grasses will struggle to get a foothold, leaving space for wildflowers to develop. Although not necessary, we tend to recommend seeding in late summer rather than spring - particularly in the East of the country. There seems to be an increasing risk of low rainfall in spring, which is very unhelpful for the establishment of seedlings. If you are seeding in spring keep a watchful eye!
